For four years, Ukraine has been courageously defending its freedom and sovereignty against the Russian invasion. This conflict undermines the very foundations of an international order grounded in peace and freedom, serving as a profound call for all European societies to reaffirm their commitment to shared democratic values.

As neighbors at the heart of Europe, Poland and Germany play a pivotal role in supporting Ukraine – politically, economically, and morally. This roundtable will examine the strategies and actions of both countries and their impact on maintaining stability, security, and democracy in Europe.

Input:
Dr Daniel Szeligowski, Head of Eastern Europe Programme, PISM

Moderation:
Małgorzata Gemen, Executive Director – Berlin Office
