International Security Programme

Coordinator: Beata Górka-Winter

Analysts:

In today’s dynamic environment, security has become more complex than ever, embracing the role of the armed forces and international institutions, the spectre of international terrorism, the global economic crisis or the struggle for reliable energy supplies. While focussing on the goals and directions of Poland’s security policy, we also closely follow the debate on NATO’s future and international operations, including their political, social and military consequences. We also examine security through the prism of Polish proposals for developing the EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy and other political initiatives.
