Winner of the PQIA Student Paper Contest

We are proud that our first-ever PQIA Student Paper Contest attracted so many outstanding submissions.
The competition was open to current graduate as well as PhD students.
The PQIA Editorial Board judged the works for their originality, writing style, logic and reasoning, as well as for the reader-interest they would generate.

Due to the high quality of the essays received we decided to publish not two but five in the Polish Quarterly of International Affairs.

We are pleased to announce the following winners of our PQIA Student Paper Contest.

  • K. Kowalczewska/M. Casenove: APT - the new cyberforce?

  • P. Izewicz/J. Dunnicliff: Civilian or Military? Addressing Dual-use Items as a Challenge to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Regime

  • K. Kusmirek: Polish Special Operation Forces: Role and Operations in Afghanistan

  • L. Turpin: The Europeanization of British Security Policy

  • B. Marcinkowski: Balkan Bad Boy Goes West: Serbia´s Challenges on the Way to the EU

Congratulations!
