We have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the conference COP24 and the Future of Climate Policy: What Role for the Three Seas Initiative?, which will be held on November 22, 2018, at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw (B. Prusa 2 Street).

Co-hosted by the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM), the event will take place less than two weeks before the start of the COP24 climate summit in Katowice.

The conference will gather COP24 president-designate, government officials from countries of Three Seas Initiative, and experts to discuss the potential role of the TSI in the field of climate policy. During the event the PISM report on energy transition and climate policy of the TSI countries will be published as well as first public presentation of the political statements to be announced during the COP24 will take place:

  • Solidarity and Just Transition Silesia Declaration,
  • The Ministerial Katowice Declaration on Forests for Climate,
  • Driving Change Together Partnership on Electromobility.
