Gen. Juan Emilio Cheyre Espinosa

The Polish Institute of International Affairs is pleased to invite you to a lecture entitled “New trends in Latin-American politics – the view from Chile” by Gen. Juan Emilio Cheyre Espinosa. Gen. Cheyre was a Chilean Army Commander-in-chief from 2002 to 2006. Prior his retirement he broke the final links between the Chilean Military and General Augusto Pinochet. He has created a Centre for International Studies at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. He has a degree in Political Science and Sociology from the Complutense University.
