Rafał Tarngórski in an interview for PAP talked about the verdict of the Strasburg European Court of Human Rights in the Katyń massacre issue: "From the perspective of international law what is most important in this issue, is that the Court called the Katyn massacre a war crime. In this context the use of particular legal categories is of great important - war crime. [...] Such a conclusion means that the massacre is not due to limitation and those eguilty may be persecuted untill the ends of their lives, just like Hitler's natzi criminals. Moreover, Russia should see to it herself that those responsible for this crime take responsibility. International law is clear here, in this situation."
