Łukasz Jurczyszyn

Political scientist, sociologist. Graduate of the institute of Political Science at the University of Warsaw and Sciences Po in Lille, France. He received his Ph.D. with honors and congratulations of the Jury at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris (EHESS/CNRS – one of the elitist Grands établissements). His field of expertise focuses on French foreign and security policy. National coordinator of the European Commission research programme DARE (Radicalisation and Dialogue About Equality) - dedicated to two types of radicalization - far right and Islamist and security policy in the EU. He participated in the research programme ÉMERGENCES of the City Hall of Paris (2009-2012): Understanding Violence in Russia. Experience of War, Terrorism and Extremism, conducted by researchers from the Centre for the Eastern Studies (CNRS). Scholarships for Ph.D. students: excellence “Eiffel” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France (EGIDE) and French Ministry of Science and Higher Education. He speaks English, French and Russian.
