Arkadiusz Legieć

Analyst for the Caucasus and Central Asia.

PhD student at the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the University of Lodz. A graduate of the Centre for Eastern European Studies at the University of Warsaw. Member of the European Expert Network on Terrorism Issues (EENet).

He gained an earlier experience, among others, as a foreign policy analyst at WiseEuropa, an analyst in the energy sector, and an editor at the Polish Press Agency. Multiple observer during the OSCE-ODIHR international election observation mission. Former expert of the H2020 consortium "Strenghtening and Energizing EU-Central Asia Relations" ("SEnECA").

His research interests include the political and security situation in the post-Soviet area and the issues of terrorism, with particular emphasis on the phenomenon of foreign fighters and mercenaries.
